Asus X00ID passes through FCC

After appearing on the benchmarking site, GFXBench, Asus upcoming smartphone codenamed as Asus X00ID has recently cleared FCC certification. As per the certificate, Asus X00ID is expected to be launched in the United States, Europe and Malaysia soon.

As per earlier leaks, Asus X00ID has equipped with a 5.5-inch HD display backed by an octa-core Snapdragon 430 chipset paired with 3GB of RAM. There would be 32GB of internal storage space. In the camera department, the phone features a dual rear camera setup including a 13-megapixel and 5-megapixel. For clicking selfies, an 8-megapixel front snapper is added. The smartphone is also listed to run Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box.

The Asus X00ID shares a similar set of specifications as Asus Zenfone 4 Max. But Zenfone 4 Max has a Full HD display and is backed by 4GB of RAM.
