LG G5 launched in India at Rs 52,990, pre-booking starts

At MWC 2016, LG has launched its flagship device, the G5 with powerful hardware configuration and features. Now it has arrived in India. Yes, pre-booking of the flagship smartphone has started on Flipkart now. The phone is listed on the website with a price tag of INR 52,990. Apart from Flipkart, you can pre-book LG G5 at LG brand shops from May 21 to May 30. Estimated release date of the phone is June 1. Those who pre-book the smartphone on the given dates will get the companion device, LG Cam Plus for free along with the device. FYI, LG G5 is the world's first modular smartphone.

Talking about its specifications, LG G5 is powered by the latest Snapdragon 820 processor coupled with 4GB RAM. Running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, the phone has all metal body with fingerprint scanner and the Dual camera module – one with a standard 16-megapixel and other is an 8-megapixel. The company claims that such camera configuration would help users to capture bigger groups, tall buildings and landscapes. On front, the phone comes with a 5.3-inch QHD display with a pixel density of 554ppi. What else, you will get an 8-megapixel camera. Powered by 2,800mAh removable battery, the phone has 32GB of internal storage space, which can be expanded with microSD card slot. The phone is available in three different colors – Silver, Gold and Titan. The Pink variant of the phone is not listed on Flipkart as of now.
