India’s top smartphone manufacturing company, Micromax has launched two ultra-affordable handsets in the country to lure budget cautious buyers. The company has launched Canvas Unite 4 and Canvas Unite 4 Pro smartphones priced at Rs 6,999 and Rs 7,499 respectively. Out of the two, Micromax Canvas Unite 4 Pro will be sold online via Snapdeal exclusively. And, the other released phone, the Unite 4 will be sold in retail stores.
Talking about their specifications, Micromax Canvas Unite 4 and Unite 4 Pro sport great features on paper. Both the devices do share certain specifications like a 5 inch IPS HD Display, 8 megapixels rear camera, 5 megapixels front camera and a fingerprint scanner. BUT, Micromax Unite 4 comes with 1GHz Quad Core Mediatek processor coupled with 1GB RAM and 8 GB of internal storage space, further expandable upto 64GB. There is a 2500 mAh battery under the hood. On the flip side, the Unite 4 Pro is equipped with a 1.3 GHz Quad Core processor combined with 2GB RAM and a 16 GB of inbuilt storage (expandable up to 32GB). This device comes loaded with a bigger 3900mAh battery. Both these 4G devices run on a refreshed OS – Indus OS v2.0. The OS supports 12 popular regional languages of the country. Barring this, the Indus Keyboard is also included which allows smartphone users to type in regional languages along with English.
