In the past, Xiaomi upcoming smartphone, codenamed as Xiaomi Chiron, was reported on the internet with high end specifications. Earlier, the phone was rumoured to be launched as Xiaomi MI MIX 2, but now the Xiaomi Chiron has been benchmarked on GFXBench, revealing most of its specs and features. The Xiaomi Chiron is different from the MIX 2 and features a different set of specifications.
As per the GFXBench listing, the Xiaomi Chiron smartphone will flaunt a 5.6-inch display with a slightly bigger resolution than Full HD – 1980×1080 pixels. Inside, the phone will be powered by Snapdragon 835 chipset combined with 6GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
Camera-wise, the phone would get a 12-megapixel rear camera – most probably a dual camera setup. However, no such information is available on the GFXBench listing. On the front, the phone will flaunt a 5-megapixel selfie snapper.
The upcoming Xiaomi device will run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. No battery information is available till now.
