Xiaomi Mi Max 2 with Snapdragon 625 SoC appears on GeekBench

Xiaomi will officially launch a 6.4-inch screen smartphone, Mi Max 2 tomorrow (May 26th). Just a few hours ago, the Xiaomi to-be-launched smartphone listed on the Geekbench revealing that the Mi Max 2 will be powered by the Snapdragon 625 chipset combined with 4GB of RAM. The Snapdragon 625 chipset is an Octa core processor clocking at 2.0Ghz.

It was previously rumoured to arrive with Snapdragon 626 or Snapdragon 660 SoC. But now GeekBench listing refutes all previous rumours.

Other previously leaked features hint a massive 5 000 mAh battery under the hood with reverse charging feature. Camera-wise, the phone will carry a 12-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixe selfie camera. The device will run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat, reveals the listing.
