As per a recent report on the smartphone market in Taiwan in May 2017, Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus turned out as the best selling Android smartphone and is ranked third after Apple iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 6 in the top 10 best selling smartphone list. The latest statistics revealed that the mobile phone sales volume has witnessed a dip by 37,000 units compared to the same period last year. Â
Market Share-wise, Samsung sits on the top of the chart, followed by Apple, Asus, HTC, Sony and OPPO. Samsung contributes 21.3 percent of market share. If we talk about sales market share, Apple is the leader among all smartphone manufacturers in Taiwan. Apple sits on the top with almost 40 percent of sales share. Samsung, Sony, ASUS, Oppo, HTC, Xiaomi, LG, Huawei are other top 10 brands.Â
Interestingly, two Oppo smartphones, Oppo A57 and Oppo R9s, have made it to the top 10 best selling smartphone list in May 2017 in Taiwan.Â
